Trying to make sense of things

China’s Q1 data dump came yesterday. In this data dump, typically earlier released data is held back to be released with the quarterly GDP numbers. First quarter GDP came in +4.5%, well above Q4’22 of 2.9%. The three broad sectors growth was +3.7% for primary sector (agriculture), +3.3% for secondary (mining, heavy industry, manufacturing and utilities)…
